We were delighted to bring two guest artist Pak Midiyanto (Puppet Master) and Pak Muryanto (Drummer) for our Spring 2017 Wayang Performance.
Midiyanto is an internationally renowned puppeteer and Gamelan maestro who teaches at UC Berkeley. Born in Central Java, he graduated from the Indonesian Conservatory of Traditional Arts. Muryanto is a master drummer and Gamelan expert who currently teaches Gamelan at the Indonesian Embassy in Washington DC.
